Project Harmony operates multiple programs that refer to mental health practitioners. Mental health professionals who accept our referrals must anticipate and be able to respond appropriately to ethical issues that may arise during therapy. In this training, professionals from our various programs, will discuss the most common ethical issues we encounter. The information and strategies provided will inform your practice to ensure you are responding to these ethical issues in effective ways.

Objectives

Following this session, participants will be able to….

  • Articulate the role you play in effective team collaboration
  • Respond appropriately to disclosures and recantation
  • Implement specific strategies to work effectively with youth who have experienced trauma or who are at risk of experiencing trauma
